What to expect in an Alexander Technique Workshop

What is the Alexander Technique? How can it help my music playing?

What is the Alexander Technique?

Alexander Technique for musicians

The Alexander Technique teaches you to move with ease and comfort, as nature intended. This method is a powerful way to release unnecessary tension and restore harmony within your body.

How does it work?

By harnessing our innate neuroplasticity, the Alexander Technique helps retrain the way your brain directs muscular coordination, fostering more efficient and balanced movement patterns.

Through kinesthetic learning, mindful movement, and constructive thinking, this process creates the optimal conditions for your body to recalibrate and realign. With increased awareness of your neuro-muscular system, you can achieve greater balance, poise, and freedom in everyday life.
